Ottawa, ON – December 11, 2024 – Today, we proudly launch OC Flooring, Ottawa’s leading flooring specialists, formerly known as Orleans Carpet and Eagleson Flooring. This rebranding reflects the company’s commitment to the community and positions it for future growth as a trusted provider of a wide range of flooring solutions.
Founded in 1987 by Raymond Brazeau, OC Flooring has grown from humble beginnings into one of Ottawa’s most respected flooring businesses. Raymond, a skilled carpet installer, began his career in 1976 before establishing Orleans Carpet in 1987. Over the years, the business expanded to include a second location, Eagleson Flooring in Kanata, and has since grown to serve both residential and commercial clients.
“Starting this business was about taking control of my future. I’ve always had that leader mindset, and I’m proud to see how OC Flooring has grown over the years,” shared Raymond Brazeau, the founder.

Now led by Raymond’s son, Sylvain, OC Flooring continues the family legacy of exceptional service and quality products. The new name marks an important milestone in the company’s evolution, uniting both locations under a strong brand identity that represents the full spectrum of flooring options.
“We’re rebranding to OC Flooring to simplify everything, to have more unity with our customers, and to send a consistent message,” said Sylvain Brazeau, second-generation owner. “With this change, our customers can expect the same level of service and product expertise they’ve come to trust.”

As part of this rebranding, OC Flooring has unveiled a new logo and website. The logo combines updated shades of blue and a modern sans-serif font, retaining the familiar ovals that depict a footprint, symbolizing OC Flooring’s step into the future while honoring its roots.
